On a personal note …
My first 22 years were spent in Pembrokeshire. In 1988 I moved to London where I worked as a Montessori teacher, nanny and administrative assistant before finally figuring out what I really wanted to do with my life.
Whilst going through a period of personal transition during my 30’s a friend suggested I see a homeopath for some support. I followed this suggestion and became fascinated by the way that homeopathy helped during this difficult phase and I decided to investigate further. Up until that point I had always assumed that homeopathy was just used for physical complaints such as eczema, asthma and so on. I had no idea just how wide ranging it actually is as a form of complementary medicine, being able to address the mental and emotional plane as well as the physical, and working on the theory that very often emotional issues, if not dealt with, may manifest as physical symptoms. It also helped enormously just to have a neutral and supportive space to voice my thoughts and fears.
My interest grew and after researching various homeopathic colleges I chose to train at The Centre for Homeopathic Education (CHE) as it combined both classical and practical homeopathy to provide a broader education. CHE lecturers are leaders in the homeopathic field and include Tony Hurley, Hilery Dorrian and Colin Griffith. (The college is the largest homeopathic training facility in the UK and is now offering courses in New York.)
I practice in Twickenham and occasionally in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire as well as providing telephone consultations. I work with people of all ages and from all walks of life – pregnant and new mums, babies and children, teenagers, stressed professionals and the older generation.
When not working I can be found with my nose in a book, spending quality time with my cat (ie, snoozing together on the sofa) or pottering in the garden.
